- Chop the Pistachios: Roughly chop 1/2 cup of shelled pistachios. You can use a knife or a food processor for this. Just be careful not to over-process them, unless you want pistachio butter.
- Slice the Red Onion: Thinly slice 1/4 of a red onion. If you're sensitive to the taste of raw onion, you can soak the slices in cold water for 10 minutes to mellow the flavor.
